Got off my butt and exercised!!!

It's true, if you don't feel like exercising...just do it anyway!!!

I got on the treadmill for the first time in ages...gosh it's been like 8 months!!! Anyway, at first I thought that my heart was going to jump right out of my chest. But I got into the groove of things and it wasn't bad at all. I took it easy and didn't go over 4 mph. I stayed mostly at 3.0 mph most of the time. I was only going to go for 30 minutes, but I ended up going for 41 minutes and did 2 miles in that time. Keep in mind, I am horribly out of shape, so this is good for me.

I did about 15 minutes of Pilates and Callanetics. I highly recommend Callanetics as it firms and tightens very quickly! It's hard to believe how good it works. Callanetics has been around for a long time, I remember doing it in the 80's as a teenager! :o)

I also highly recommend Pilates. There are tons of different tapes. I love it for lengthening the muscles and not adding bulk.

Anyway, I took a nice hot shower afterward and I can honestly tell you that I feel 1000% better than I did earlier today! So, try doing some type of activity every day if you can. It's easier than you think!!!
