The need to return to source during a confused search for new value in a chaotic society.
Date: 1/3/2017 3:23:41 AM ( 7 y ) ... viewed 1938 times Just discovered that when I was born there was a planetary object about half the size of Pluto and larger than the major asteroids in the constellation of the scales just a few degrees from where the Sun was located. I then searched for an introduction this and found a good read.[1]
Growing the general significance I then turned to the Sabian Symbols for a more in-depth reading (following) on the significance of this placement.
LIBRA 9°: THREE "OLD MASTERS" HANGING ON THE WALL OF A SPECIAL ROOM IN AN ART GALLERY.
KEYNOTE: The need to return to source during a confused search for new value in a chaotic society.
There are always moments which focus in our minds the longing to re-ground ourselves in the great achievements of the past. The number 3 suggests completeness; esoteric traditions speak of the three-fold Soul, or of three fundamental "Rays" — of Power, of Love-Wisdom, and of Intelligence-in-action. Meditation, in its deepest sense, is a return to Source — an attempt to re-identify oneself with one's archetypal essence of being, which is triune in manifestation, and now) after confused but challenging wanderings, to identify oneself consciously with this "essence." The finer forms of one's culture provide the means to do this. The great moments of the collective past become an inspiration for new, yet sound, beginnings. The seed of tomorrow salutes the seed of yesteryear.
At this fourth stage of the thirty-eighth sequence it is suggested that in the process of "Transfiguration" the presence of the greatest moments of the past is called upon, as Moses and Elijah were invoked in Jesus' Transfiguration. The seed of the new day depends upon the seed of yesteryear for an experience of the cyclic continuity of spirit. This is the basis for the institutionalized ideal of APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION, the guruampara (an uninterrupted chain of gurus) of Indian tradition.
I post this Sabian Symbol here most especially because of the Keynote. It seems to be referring to the greater society and especially now - right when I discovered it!
Quaoar's significance can be accompanied by the following:
"... December 29, 2016 (Dec 28 MST) New Moon resides amongst the stars of the Zen Archer. It occurs the day after the Sun-Mercury conjunction, thus still conjoining retrograde Mercury within a degree, and just as Uranus stations to complete its retrograde. It is also allied in strength with Mars and Neptune, which lie amongst the flowing waters of the progressive humanitarian waterbearer. Mars makes its exact conjunction with Neptune in opposition to Orcus a couple of days later, on New Years Eve. Venus will conjoin Neptune in opposition to Orcus later in the lunar cycle. This is a significant placement upon the axis of the previous Solar Eclipse that occurred on September 1, 2016, placements that classically tend to produce outward manifestations that are in concert with the eclipse energetic (New Moon theme). This eclipse was exceptionally significant in that it created a T-square with Saturn and Neptune, also initiating a new annual Earth-Neptune cycle, imparting a strong resonance with our entry into the last quarter of the 36.4-year Saturn-Neptune synodic cycle that began in 1989 and completes in 2025."[2]
I quoted to this extent in order to give sufficient context for the very last thought regarding the 36+ yr. cycle that ends in 2025 - which I intuit that this "last quarter" is the necessary preparation for the "Rhythmic Symphony"[3] of 2027.

There are elements of the Sabian Symbol reading (above) that I relate to "The Temple Legend" - a lecture of Rudolf Steiner.
"... If one told people to be guided by the great cosmic laws, they would not do so. However, if the laws are introduced unnoticed into things, it is often possible to inject a drop of this attitude into them. If you have this attitude, then you will have a notion of what it is which is symbolised in the mighty allegory of the lost temple."[5]
