17 Days... Going Strong
Trucking Along at Day 17!
Date: 11/17/2013 4:33:43 AM ( 11 y ) ... viewed 764 times End of day 17 now, as predicted, got home late yesterday from an amazing day and didn't make an entry... Got a bit long being out from 7am to about 8:30pm or so when I made it home, brought a couple bottles of mineral water and shrubs with me and there was tea etc there so was easy to fast in the end - just went away from the whole mess tent when peeps were eating and found a nice bench with birds, sunshine and did some mantras for an hour or so - beautiful spot out there... very serene.
By the end of the day I was getting lightheaded, feeling high and dizzy - it was time to go, getting home took that feeling away - not a bad feeling, just getting a bit loopy after awhile, not sure if it was the empowerment or the fast.. anyway, today's been another day, great one - beautiful weather, did a great morning practice and kicking butt with the Yoga now - added in the Solid Gold Dancers arms video again - my body is feeling better every day for the exercise and fasting - my locked up parts really coming loose again, shoulder a lot better, it's a chronic problem for me so it takes time, it's really warming up with the stretching and getting the blood moving though.
Spent a lot of the afternoon in the garden with bf - he did heaps of work in the garden, mowing the lawns and cutting back pathways, planting things for me - sweeping up the debris, after him being away for 3 weeks the grass was getting pretty shaggy -- we had a jam session as well and after he worked so hard I dragged him in the bedroom for a bit of sunset love *note to self... in times past I have really noticed a big drop in libido during fasts, no such feeling this time so far... hmmm it is spring tho ;)
Looking forward to getting to 21 days next week, 18 tomorrow, seems like I'm well into the fast now... had 2 small juices today, along with mineral water, shrubs, and some cocoa -- still fantasizing about curry laksa.. maybe I'll do some soup days when I start eating again... still a long way off now, it's good to be home, doing so much to regenerate myself - feel 12 years younger than when I started - see a different me in the mirror and becoming much happier for all the changes. Still a white coating on my tongue when I wake, might use another set of foot patches tonight, been awhile & I should be able to enjoy and early one tonight - leave them on for a good spell.
