SPENDING TIME PREPARING EXPERIMENT WITH KAMUT® WITH GOAL TO GET IT TO SPROUT

Today is Monday June 17, 2013
It is 10:40 am
I have brought in the baskets that were part of my Home Produce Exhibit at the San Diego Country Fair. They are on the dining room table. I have watered the three wine barrels on the front garden with pond water.
I have cleared two pots and added some potting soil on the top...two kinds...
Whole Food Market made from scraps they collect, and Baffalo loam.
I am setting up two trial pots to grow grass.
I will soak seeds of KAMUT® in each. One will have the Montana seeds from previous seasons. One pot will have the Kamut® I have grown here. Some grew in the Aquaponic Tower Garden System. Some Grew in the Wine Barrels.
Going to do that now.
Feeling better in my head than I was earlier this morning.
Working with plants and clearing these pots of old material was therapeutic.
I would be very happy to see some signs of growth from the Kamut ® seeds that grew here in the wine barrels and Tower Garden. No sign yet.

I was rushing so fast yesterday that I forgot to call my father, who just had his 95th Birthday, to wish him a happy Father's Day. His 95th birthday was May 30. I remembered, but did not take the time to contact him then either.
I woke up early this morning and stayed in bed until I could begin to feel some sense of sanity coming in. Oh, my. I just heard a car crash on College Avenue just now, and there is a beeping horn. The City installed a traffic light to help people remember to slow down, but obviously, that Red Light was not enough for the dear soul that just crashed.
I have been crashing too.
I am very concerned about my mental state.
Friday evening I was preparing my Pizza Box--or some part of my KAMUT® Exhibit for the San Diego Fair Home Produce Contest. I wasn't sure if what I wanted to present would be clear. I needed to make sure that the ancient grains of wheat were presented in a way that would win a Blue First Place Ribbon. That was my goal for Saturday, June 15, 2013. To bring the Ancient Khorasan wheat to the San Diego Fair Infield.
My materials filled the entire dining room table Friday night when Ken came to eat dinner. I did not want to break my focus, but I asked him if he needed room to eat.
I am hearing sirens in the background now approaching. I hope no one was shaken up or hurt too badly.
I am keeping my focus now with my writing here. This is material for the book "Grow A Healthier Pizza."
I still here the sirens and now a horn.
An ambulance has arrived.

Ken Said He Would Eat His Dinner on a Tray
Ken said he would eat his dinner on a tray. I am distracted now by the accident. I too have been in an accident The Way I have been living my life is not sustainable. I am doing too many things.
My mind is filled with constant inspiration. Every step I take this morning has another thought.
I was feeling better before I got out of bed. I stayed there long enough to come up from the depths of fear to again see some things that I want to do today to begin to regain my ground.
THINGS I WANT TO DO THIS MORNING TO REGAIN MY GROUND
1. Send Photos to Christina at Dr. Bronners.
2. Respond to Jane Sooby about why KAMUT® has a Registered Trademark.
3. Write about my plan to enhance the exhibit of KAMUT® that I left at the fair.
4. Clean off and create more of an Altar in the Center of my desk.
5. Let Lurrae know about the Blue Ribbon.
6. Write up a blog to Bob Quinn about the prize.
7. Wash the Seed Saving Testing Kits off and make a cover.
8. Write up my plan for the other weeks of the San Diego Country Fair.
9. Next Saturday is another Infield Farm Contest. I want to make sure that my exhibit stays in the showcase. Write to Jennifer Galey, the Infield Farm Coordinator to tell her.
10. I need some other kind of container to bring to show off the KAMUT® Seeds.
11. Replace the Pizza insert card with a new one.
12. Begin to write up the story of what happened at the Fair on Saturday June 15, 2013
13. Do some Beginning of Record Keeping Set Up. This is weighing heavy on me.
14. Connect with Paul Wallace about the class I will teach at the National Heirloom Expo September 10-11-12, 2013.
15. Find Photos of Joe The Farmer for CSA Exhibit on Saturday.
write to Joe about my experience at the Fair and CSA Veggies taking a stand on Saturday.

Go get my basket from the EG Mobile and Put the grain the kids made in the Refrigerator.
17. Ask Nadine to start the Sourdough starter.
JuLY 4 Mom's Parade to Label GMO's...at the Fair....
Healthy Food...march in the fair...with support.
18. Make a News Release for the Kamut® in the fair.
