Day 6 - Water Fast
Day 6 - Water Fast weight loss amazing!!!
Date: 10/18/2012 7:58:41 AM ( 12 y ) ... viewed 19035 times I can't believe I have made it this far... I feel so proud of myself, and my energy is amazing. I need to figure out how to post photos here because my scars on my hands are almost not visible anymore. I have one, very big scar on a right hand, that one has not yet faded... however, it is flattening. Wow. Incredible.
And THEN -
I woke up this morning, and weighed myself. As I have mentioned this fast for me, is not about the number - it's about the healing. But, having said that, I looked down at the number this morning and I am at a weight that I haven't seen in years. My body has been stuck at this awful plateau, and no amount of dieting and exercise has been able to break that plateau. When I saw the results so far - I am really overwhelmed how balanced my body feels. I know there will come a point in this process, where I will hit that wall - but, I have a pretty good exit strategy in place for coming off this fast. My juicer is at the ready, and I will be committed to a mostly raw food diet... not because I want to stay AT this number, but more so because... I want to always feel this good.
I am waking up with energy, that I never realized I could have on a fast. My first water fast was a horrible experience. You really have to have the right mindset AND method. That means, don't go into it cold turkey or you will be miserable. Read the books and posts from people who have done this before many times, and you will have a much easier time. Gradually remove the toxins from your diet before you fast and you won't be left writhing in pain on your couch watching the minutes tick by. AND get your head right before you start - people can be toxic, too. Be very mindful of that.
ANyway... day 6.. YAY!!!
