What good is consciousness if we do not have free will? Or, vis-vesra. To be conscious is to know who and what we are, and to know what we need and want and to know why, to have individual preferances.... BUT MOSTLY free will and consciousness add up to having a basic human right to make choices.
If you have an addiction, you have given up some of your free will - the drug now controls some of your actions and motivations.
If you were kidnapped and put into the human trafficing [mostly for sex] arena, you have lost a great deal of what is important to you, and therefore your free will.
As for consciousness, if it's meaning is that we are "aware of ourselves and the world around us", then many of us are letting our subconscious mind rule and rarely call on our conscious mind. What is changing in our lives? Who is ruling the roost? Are others determining our future?
Without free will and consciousness, nothing much would matter to us any more than they do to a contented animal in the zoo.... "feed me, then sleep, have sex but not for pleasure". There is so much more to life than that, at least for a conscious person with free will - life can be infinitely more rewarding by exersizing those special traits that are unique to humans.
There is a flip side, true enough. We suffer, we fear, and we can break down and go insane too, but it is worth it.
Don't give up your free will. Be conscious of the world instead of operating on a subconscious level all the time. [science tells us than 90% of what we do is done subconsciously, but with free will we can increase that which we are conscious of. Try tasting what you are eating, try feeling the texture of your chair, notice more, be more aware.
Don't just sit and stare. Not while a small group of Elites is plotting against our free will.
They ARE.
How a small group of Elites can control large populations has been a key element in societies around the world since the time of the building of the Great Pyramids.
It was about that time, around 5000 to 10,000 years ago, that the Conehead skulls date back to. They may have been misshapen freaks, or they may have been super-intelligent, possibly even ET.
Today we know that simply parasites can control other life forms, such as the parasite that causes rodents to sit in the open where cats can kill them, then the parasite enters the cat to complete it's life stages. Dozens of similar examples exist - snail parasites cause snails to sit atop rocks so birds will eat them, and so on.
Could the Elites have planted a parasite into the masses to control us?
One of the best ways to know is to try to exersize our free will, and to increase our consciousness. If you find you are unable to, consider that you are being controlled.
For example - is our government working in our best interests? Does democracy allow us to put in new types of politicians who will serve us better? I am not going to give you those answers, the point is for you to sort it out, as a test of free will and consciousness.
Here are some more pedestrian theories of how "control of the masses by a small group of Elites" is possible, and possibly a reality today:
1] Education
Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt, former Senior Policy Advisor in the U.S. Department of Education, blew the whistle on government activities with her insider knowledge of educational changes over recent decades.
She has been exposing the agenda of modern education in her book, "The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America", which lays bare the role of Globalist foundations in shaping a future intended to produce servile drones lorded over by a fully educated, aware elite class.

2] Television, Computer, and “flicker rate”– It’s bad enough that what is “programmed” on your TV is engineered to change our view of the real world, but it is all made easier by literally lulling you to sleep. Flicker rate tests show that alpha brain waves are altered, producing a type of hypnosis.
Social programming has its origins in predominately elitist Hollywood, where the big screen can offer a big vision of where society is headed.
3] Drugs — This can be any addictive substance, but the mission of mind controllers is to be sure you are addicted to something. One major arm of the modern mind control agenda is psychiatry, which aims to define all people by their disorders, as opposed to their human potential. This was foreshadowed in books such as Brave New World . Today, it has been taken to even further extremes as a medical tyranny has taken hold where nearly everyone has some sort of disorder — particularly those who question authority. The use of nerve drugs in the military has led to record numbers of suicides. Worst of all, the modern drug state now has over 25% of U.S. children on mind-numbing medication.
Other drugs include Fluoride in drinking water, proven to lower IQ; Aspartame and MSG are excitotoxins which excite brain cells until they die; and easy access to the fast food that contains these poisons generally has created a population that lacks focus and motivation for any type of active lifestyle. Most of the modern world is perfectly groomed for passive receptiveness — and acceptance — of the dictatorial elite. And if you choose to diligently watch your diet, they are fully prepared to spray the population from the above.
4] Military Mindset — The military has a long history as the testing ground for mind control. The military mind is perhaps the most malleable, as those who pursue life in the military generally resonate to the structures of hierarchy, control, and the need for unchallenged obedience to a mission.
5] Advertising and Propaganda — separate from TV and Movies is the stuff in between the programs. Also, the slant of mainstream media disguised as "the news".
People’s self-image can turn a want into a need. This was initially envisioned for products such as cigarettes, for example. The increasing consolidation of media has enabled the entire corporate structure to merge with government, which now utilizes the concept of propaganda placement. Media; print, movies, television, and cable news can now work seamlessly to integrate an overall message which seems to have the ring of truth because it comes from so many sources, simultaneously. When one becomes attuned to identifying the main “message,” one will see this imprinting everywhere. And this is not even to mention subliminal messaging.
Way back in 1928, a fellow named Bernays, as noted in his 1928 book "Propaganda", that “propaganda is the executive arm of the invisible government”, as is so clear now when we look back at the German propaganda of the 1930s and 40s. Propaganda is evident to those who see it in the modern police state and the growing citizen snitch culture, wrapped up as "The War on Terror".
The increasing consolidation of media has enabled the entire corporate structure to merge with government, which now utilizes the concept of propaganda placement. Media; print, movies, television, and cable news can now work seamlessly to integrate an overall message which seems to have the ring of truth because it comes from so many sources, simultaneously. When one becomes attuned to identifying the main “message,” one will see this imprinting everywhere. And this is not even to mention subliminal messaging.
Exersize your free will - if you are censored for it or thrown into jail for it, then you will know it has been taken away from you, from all of us. Only a fully conscious mind can keep this from happening. Be aware, be in control of your life and your self.
