This is the first post I made when I realized I was displaying symptoms of Candida overgrowth.
I did this completely wrong, not understanding that one needs to perhaps look for parasites first, flush the liver and colon. I have done a few liver flushes in my life and they are not fun.
Anyway, I ended up overwhelming my adrenals and I was not experiencing a healing crisis...I was just filling my congested organs with toxins.
I stopped taking the anti-fungals, and fasted on green juice for three days.
That's when I saw a worm in the toilet. I'd seen them before but before coming to Curezone I thought it was "mucoid plaque" Now I know what that looks like (and yeast in the stool as well) and I am fairly certain I have a bigger problem than just Candida Albicans overcoming my system. I think I have parasites. It would make sense; i took a trip to Mexico about 4 years ago. I drank some tap water from my room one night (I was very drunk) and the next day I was sick. Very sick. I recovered quickly, but what has followed has been three years of chronic intestinal pain and constipation. I was tested for food allergies; of which I've several. I've cut those foods and more from my diet and I am not gaining weight, and I am not having regular movements.
Then in 2009 I had a barium enema and xray. The technician inflated my large intestine and barium leaked into my body. I lost about 20 lbs in 3 months, and 30% of my hair.
Needless to say, I have multiple health problems that I cannot manage on my own. I do not trust Western Medicine to address the issues I have competently, so June 14 I am seeing an ND, to get tests done, and figure out how to get well.
I wanted to get this down though; because I suffer from chronic constipation and will not take purgatives, I do an enema as needed. Lately I've had to do them more often, and just today I added Aloe vera juice. It was tremendously soothing and made a typically tough time MUCH easier. That and the fact I've started taking digestive enzymes and probiotics. I even noticed a lot lest candida threads in the toilet.
I'll update when I see the Naturopath :)
