a list of reasons i enjoy fasting!
reasons im fasting, and things i can do to distract myself from food
Date: 5/16/2011 8:57:15 AM ( 13 y ) ... viewed 1420 times i think if i make a small list of reasons its nice to fast when i feel tempted to eat and break it i can look at this and remind myself of all the positives it has.
1) i enjoy being cold. strange i know, but i prefer it, i think i like it because i love all things warm. hot drinks. hot water bottles. cozy blankets. being cold means i can use these
2) i need to re-gain self control, over food and other aspects of life.
3) it gives me time to think, so far today i have actually made a lot of decisions about my life,
4)its good to let your body detox
5)i want to be slim, fasting is the quickest way to lose weigh, water weight or not, its still weight.
6)although we've not had much good weather as of late, im sure the sun will be out soon wich means shorts and thunder thighs are not nice
7) i have never ever worn a bikini before i want to wear one this year.
8)all that water makes my skin look so much better
9) i dont know if its my imagination but when im fasting my hair seems to look nicer and my nails feel stronger.
10)i want to challenge myself, this is a challege.
11)to teach self disciplin
12)when i do eat again, food tastes so much better.
13) when people notice your losing weight, no-one can deny loving that!
14) i can wear the smallest size off the railing
15) not being the fat friend (no1 has ever called me that but i feel it)
16) it saves lots of money on food, that can be spent on a nice new top
17) i used to HATE water but through fasting ive learned to love it, even when i dont fast now i only ever drinnk water
18)self-acceptance
19)to teach a healthier lifestyle
well thats all i got for now but thats some reasons although my favourite. main reason and goal is simply to get slim
THINGS I CAN DO NOT TO CAVE IN
1) drink green tea when hungry, it gives some flavour and makes you feel warm inside, it also helps with hunger pains
2)read
3)look for jobs
4)exercise
5)watch a film
6)go on the internet
7)order pretty clothes online
8)go shopping
9)down 2 glasses of water really fast. it makes you feel full and gives time to think about breaking the fast
10)write in a diary
11) listen to music, if your fasting for spiritual reasons listen to natural music such as sounds of the ocean to calm you if your doing it for weight loss watch music videos with all the slim people and remember your goals
