Still Time Now for Rethinking The Flu Virus!
Chef Jem's perspective regarding what the flu viruses are essentially all about

The good news is that air pollution in China has been cut in half. Other good news is that for 80 percent of humanity and almost 100 percent of children the coronavirus is harmless. More people are dying from the regular flu and regular pneumonia than from the coronavirus; and many more from cancer each day.
The other good news is that most of the people slated to die can be saved meaning the death rate only has to be high if people and doctors follow the lockstep of ignorance that is especially prevalent in the West. China is already starting to use intravenous vitamin C but no one is talking about using sodium bicarbonate, which working side by side with vitamin C would work like a dream. Add hydrogen medicine in ICU or at home, selenium, magnesium and iodine, Vitamin D and A and one has a full protocol appropriate to use at home or in hospital settings.
The Bad News -
Does not matter if we are on the crashing plane or on the Titanic, the pilots are drunk power hungry lunatics who don’t have any intention of doing anything rational to save us from a “perfect storm” of circumstances.
President Donald Trump met with drug company executives to elicit promises of new medicines. Executives from Gilead Sciences Inc., Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline Plc, Sanofi, Pfizer Inc. and other manufacturers told Trump they were making rapid progress on vaccines and antivirals to combat the coronavirus. This is pathetic because we already have answers. The Trump administration is testing existing “off-the-shelf” drugs to combat the coronavirus but my bet is that they will overlook the best drugs already used in emergency and ICU departments.
As we move deeper into this crisis it will become evident that there is little to no wisdom in the world that will be called upon to save us from ourselves. Most politicians are medical idiots, the mass media (elite) has it in for us, the pharmaceutical companies know nothing of or care for safety, and doctors have lost the capacity to think in scientific medical terms.[3]

Greetings All!
This is the list that I think may be most receptive to possibly rethinking about the flu virus.
For well over thirty years I have considered "colds" to simply be the body's way to cleanse. I have found that when I have managed my diet and allowed for intentional cleanses that I do not "catch" colds (even though many around me may be "catching" colds). I am convinced that "colds" are not contagious. I think the same about the flu. I believe the flu is simply the body's means for an advance cleanse. Since I don't suffer "colds" or the flu it may be easier for me to think of the flu virus differently than conventional wisdom may view it. (I believe that Aajonus of primal diet fame thinks similarly.) In any case I find that when I think like Pasteur finally declared in that "the Terrain is everything"[2] then I can no longer remain confined within the fear-based paradigm of what amounts to as essentially "attack viruses"! The terrain of course is our own terrain and I think we can all agree that we do have the predominate say over the state of that terrain. If this is true then I believe it all comes back to each of us individually.
Today I was on a public bus in San Diego and I saw a woman board the bus wearing a mask. I could see that the mask was not even fitting snugly around her face! I thought "what a joke"! Then after the woman was on the bus there were two other women passengers who then put hankies (or other cloth material) around the noses. I thought this was a perfect example that demonstrates the fear-based propaganda that is now the conventional wisdom of our times! I think if he could Louis Pasteur would have started a conversation with all these ladies and may possibly have said: "I used to think like you. I used to think the microbial was in a sense all-powerful. It took me most of my life but I finally realized that the microbial life serves a certain purpose in the divine plan. They are wonderful scavengers and at times we need them to take out our garbage. However, if you are able to manage your own garbage then you have nothing to fear from these garbage collectors as they will have nothing to collect from you! You can avoid their services by taking out your own garbage!"

July 4, 2017 - Germ Theory Supports Medical Commerce
"...When Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin, it spawned a focus on fighting germs and disease with antibiotics and drugs, leaving food in the dust.
'When I woke up just after dawn on September 28, 1928, I certainly didn’t plan to revolutionize all medicine by discovering the world’s first antibiotic, or bacteria killer,' Fleming would later say, 'But I suppose that was exactly what I did.'
You can never have true, lasting health through drug protocols. There are side effects to every drug! That alone should raise red flags for you. Humans shouldn’t have to depend on a drug that has never been here before. The foreign, often 'quick-fix' reliance on drugs has created the super bugs and drug-resistance strains we have to fight today. Instead of drugs, we need to turn to food first.
But instead, our future doctors are learning about drug interactions and not about healthy eating and medicinal foods. The whole medical community has turned and flipped on its head and the real science of how the body works has been eliminated. The profit center and the wide eyes of pharmaceutical industries were created. There is profit in fighting and treating the symptoms of disease with drugs. But there is no profit in growing your own food and nourishing and healing your body through nutritional choices.
Germ theory does not acknowledge how powerful your diet can be for preventing and treating diseases (especially chronic diseases or non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as cancer, heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, etc.)
Some drugs are needed for infectious diseases, which is a completely different category. Infectious diseases ... are easily spread through personal contact, water, air, and even mosquitoes and flies. But even these are looking for a more opportunistic host — someone with a compromised immune system or area of internal weakness to exploit."[1]
