Day 11
Day 11 summary
Date: 5/5/2008 1:10:37 PM ( 16 y ) ... viewed 1710 times Day 11 was a hard day. I woke up with a headache and it stayed with me most of the day. Thankfully, we had no plans and just hung around the house. My weight loss is going well.
I think the hardest thing about this fast is having to feed the kids. Seeing hot prepared food is still very hard. They are able to handle breakfast and lunch on their own with the ingredients we have on hand, but not dinner. Next time I do a fast, I will spend a week or so preparing individual meals that can be frozen for them. That will reduce a lot of temptation for me.
The other temptation that is driving me crazy is for a cheeseburger and guacamole. I am dying for both. I have been dreaming about eating them. The funny part, in my dream, I am still on the fast, but eat them anyway. My dreams are always about things I can't do. I'm already planning on how I can have both of these items after the fast. How to make a healthy cheeseburger? Whole wheat bun, maybe a veggie burger instead of beef? I can make guacamole healthy, but what to have it with. I can't have chips. They aren't healthy. But maybe I can make my own whole wheat tortilla chips. If there is a way. I can also use it with veggies. I'm not sure if carrot slices would taste good with it. There are possibilities.
