I had to interrupt my fast today because the mother of a child I am tuitioning insisted that I tried her luxuriant dumplings she specially bought for me. Sigh. Anyway, I will restart the 21 day water fast tomorrow--again. No more excuses.

I tried to start my 21 day water fast today. It worked out fine till evening then I finally gave in to my cravings and had cookies and wheat biscuits. I am not sure why, but I suppose I lost the will to fight the cravings.
During the day, I experienced constant cravings and my mind was swarmed with thoughts of foods, especially biscuits and chips. I spent a lot of energy fighting them but eventually succeeded when I persevered and continued my work.
In the end though, I still failed. But it is ok. There is tomorrow.
