I tried to google the word "churchianity" and started looking at the sites listed on the first page. As I started reading them something seemed a bit out of place, and some of the sites had a long page about Yeshua before getting to the word churchianity and getting even more stranger to me.
I read enough of the pages and realized they were views from Universalist or Unitarian and even one from Hinduism . It started to seem like google was trying to steer me away from what I intended to find.
So I backed out and gave up, thats when I decided to ask you.

After the young pastor and some of the deacons recommended getting rid of the old dark panneling in the church and replace it with white walls so people can see their Bible and Hymnals better in the poor lighting.
They also recommended extending and widening the tiny choir loft to make room for the choir, and also so people from the side aisles can see the choir.
The old timers, most of whom never show up in church except when there is a vote on something, made made such a big stink in the church about how their families has been members for generations and are buried in the cemetary next to the church, and how the families supported the church with money and donated this and that in their memory, and was even mentioned "they would roll over in their grave" if what they worked for and donated was taken down or changed!
The pastor and deacons got so frustrated they just dropped issue, because these people got so loud and disrupted with their emotions about keeping the church building as original as possible. :(

I had a general conversation with the pastor of an old 1800's church I go to. He surprised me when he asked me if I saw all the bronze plaques in the church and even inbedded in the sidewalk, These plaques were for things donated in the names of families and dead relatives to the church, such as the steeple, pews, sidewalk and the list goes on.

I said: "Yes, I have seen them".

Then the pastor told me that a church is not meant to be a "shrine" and should not be a shrine, a church is only a shelter for the church to worship in, and not a shrine for the deceased or a shrine for how much money somebody or a family gave to the church for church programs and needs.
The ammount you can afford to give should not determine who gets a shrine (plaque) in the church.
He said the church cemetary is full of shrines, and are welcomed, because they offer the families comfort and a marker that is pleasing to look at and easy to locate the spot you are looking for.
The pastor also said, some people are confusing the church building with what church is really about.
