My guess is the mucous is related to detox, or
it could be that your system is reacting to the
overdosing of cayenne since your intestines produce
mucous and your system could have gone into overdrive
there. The rash would certainly be some detox. If
you look in the mirror and really examine your tongue
and then look on my blog at the tongue tip charts
you can see where you are detoxing...which organ.

Also, if you have a magnifying mirror or glass and using
a strong light, look at your iris. It can be interesting
to do a correlation between your eyes and your tongue
and see what is going on detox wise...here are a few
simple charts. Just something interesting although a
good iridologist can really give a good diagnosis.
I had a friend who was excellent and he gave me lots
of good feedback last year after all my detox work.

For your mouth, I have recently discovered that peppermint
neutralizes toxins and so sipping on some steeped tea
could be beneficial. I suppose that is why peppermint
is popular as a breath mint..heh heh...
