Blog: My Juice Fasts And Weight Battle
The easy part is over. I've set my plan. I have my juicer. I'm fully committed and believe in the process. Now, the hard part starts.
I really have wanted to turn my back on a lifestyle that I am aware is wrong, but have given in to, for some reason. I want this to be the beginning of a new life for me. A new way to approach diet, exercise and overall health.
I've decided that not making the entire 30 days will not be failure. Having never fasted before, I know that 30 is very optimistic. If I do 3, 7, 21, 29 days, it will be a success no matter what. 30 is just a goal. A goal that I'm really motivated to meet.
The main reason I'm writing this today is to get used to the process. I don't really have much to write about.
The goal for the pre-fast period is the have fruit for breakfast and lunch and a salad for dinner. The last 4 days will be add juice to the mix.
Start Weight: 281 (this morning)
Weight This Morning: 281
Best,
D

I think each person who does a juice-fast will have different experiences (you can easily see that by reading the blogs). My opinion is that for the most part what you experience will depend on your own mental attitude during the fast. You have a good one. What type of juicer did you get??
I can tell you my favorite juice of the moment (I highly reccomend starting out on it as it is very filling and delicious) is...
50% Carrot, 20% Beet, 15% Granny Smith Apple, 10% Parsley 5% Ginger.
It's high in calories so the fullness lasts a while
Peace,
Bearded One
