I think it's.. when people get to a point where they're fatigued and frustrated from the constant battle with themselves. I've been told when people reach a level or consistency of pain they're uncomfortable with is when change occurs. I believe emotionally you can reach that point, too.
I'd like to continue hiding in my corner and doing that which silences my many emotions, but - it's not getting me anywhere.
I choose to come out from my corner now.

yes, very well said. i think you are seeing some things there. its true you can get addicted to your own pain and close down and circle your emotional wagons and never let any one or thing in, but of course then you are also shutting down any possibility of love and light and healing to come in and make things better. i speak from experience. keep going.

...just haven't felt enough pain yet.
Think of pain as a blinking light on your dashboard trying to get your attention to make changes. For some the light has to be blinding...for others the transmission has to fall off.

I remember when my friend crashed my car when I was in it.
He was driving.
I was like, 'OMG! TREE! TREEEEEEEE!'
I grabbed the steering wheel to sharply turn it so we wouldn't hit the tree, but he pushed me off of it and into the tree we slid..
I learned later that if he'd have let me turn the wheel, the car would have slid sideways and I would have been crushed into the tree.
Your words reminded me of that, lol, sorry. :)
