This morning my boyfriend, Nono, helped me out of bed. I couldn't stand up. I kept sliding down, clutching his hand in desperation.
My stomach and intestines are so swollen and puffy, I can't even sit correctly.
I wondered if I should really wear my tank top today. Swollen intestines make me look as if I've gained 5 pounds..
Why is my vanity here? My body is pleading for attention, yet I stare into the mirror and proclaim 'Ugly'.
Maybe because I've had this illness for so long, that I've learned to make it second priority? Maybe my low self-esteem is my illness -
My face is white. My head keeps dipping, I'm so tired I can hardly stay awake. I keep swallowing to suppress the nausea. My intestines feel as if they're bursting..
Have I had enough pain?
I pray that I get a place to stay for a couple of weeks, just to rest.
