Blog: 40 day water fast
Today is day 9 and I feel really proud of myself! I've never fasted this long before. Two years ago I fasted 7 days and on the end of 7th day, I ate.
I feel great, I'm still not dizzy.. but lately I've been feeling extremely hungry, it's painful sometimes. And I'm craving all kinds of food right now, especially soups and salads so I've been looking at recipes.. I thought it would make me stop fasting but it seems like I don't mind anymore. Maybe it's because I keep seeing people eat all the time at school anyway and also on tv... and my mom is also making the most delicious, healthy food you can imagine and the smell is so intense. But I just think that all that will still be available after the fast.. and I like feeling skinnier every day.. even though, I don't think I've lost much weight until now.. I'm waiting to weigh myself until day 20 because if I see that I've just lost 11 pounds for example, I would feel disappointed.. even though I know it's not little.. it's just that I have so much weight to lose, 11 pounds wouldn't make a big difference.
