Not only do Flukes have feeder tubes that attach to the intestines so they can feed, breed and survive, they have thorns that anchor them into tight spots in the intestines. Like fishhooks these barbs seem to flow in the direction based upon the angle and curve of the fluke. The closer to the sucker tubes the thorns point away, but the thorns on the body of the fluke can turn either direction as they wedge themselves into the skin. The slime of green mucus that can turn clear and stringy holds the small pods, seeds of multiple species of parasites. Praziquental in low doses seems to work well with the removal of Flukes, but the Prazi used in high doses can make you very sick. Low doses 8mg - 25mg/kg bases upon infection and mucus layer needs to be adjusted as the mucus layer is removed. Liver function can be damaged if too much toxin is released into the body. Slow and easy is the best method in removing these energy sucking, disease making parasite. If you do not take the right meds to subdue and paralyze the parasite they will dig through the intestines and find new locations to exist. Ivermectin in the AM and raw pumpkin seed in PM can be used to paralyze the parasites as you remove them gently from the body. Use one or both, but use caution because you only have one body.
