Hi Scott, you can use Lugols in juice or with vit C, then the dosage given to the twins can be much higher. I have done this with all my kid cases, all have had effect, one with her asthma. Make sure you give them all companions. Well, my son isn’t addicted to coffee. We only gave it to him during his colds that brought on his asthma. Once I started him on oregano oil, his asthma went away, never to return. That has been years ago, and he doesn’t drink coffee anymore. He liked it as much as I did when he was able to drink it though. I have often wondered about why I suddenly came down with a lifetime of asthma at age 40. My doctor blamed it all on our dog & his ”dander.”.. I can report on this. I am at 100mg iodoral and I have concocted a spray mister to inhale when I have an asthma attack. I mix 15 drops of 5% Lugols into a 1 ounce misting bottle.Result is that it helps a little, as in minimally. Paraboy, I just don’t understand. Spiriva & Advair are for serious cases of Asthma. How is she going to treat her asthma attacks if she quits on these inhalers? What is your substitute? She could end up in the hospital or even die of a serious asthma attack without her inhalers. I suffer seasonal asthma myself, and I have not been able to replace my inhalers with anything else. I also have a recent asthma report. After 1 year at 50mg iodoral, I was able to cure my prostate. It was not until adding 200mg of SSKI that my asthma melted away, No more chest tightness. John, Congrats on taking charge of your health! This forum recommends 100mg Lugols or iodoral iodine for optimal health. Also recommends taking SSKI in addition to the Lugols. Karma, Look into oregano oil for respiratory issues and especially for asthma. My son had asthma years ago. We changed his diet (took him off of wheat and dairy) and started him on oregano oil, and from those changes alone he never had another asthma attack again. We still stick with the diet and only give oregano oil now if he has a cold, but he breathes normal at night even with a cold now. I found a fascinating website regarding asthma. You can find it at www.asthme-reality.com. There is a method to stop an asthma attack without drugs. I’ve tried it on my son and it works! I had been taking 50mg of Iodoral for over 1 year = it cured my prostate but did noting for my Asthma. Taking 800mg of SSKI quickly cured my asthma. Wheezing sounds like asthma to me. If she has emphysema, then her lungs have lost elasticity and she will have trouble breathing, means panting rapidly to just walk across the room but not wheezing. Hi, I am asthmatic and have graves disease. I’m taking flixotide, which has/is Flovent. I started taking lugols 6 months ago, but had to keep stopping because my asthma seemed to be getting worse. Celtori, I don't have goiter but I can say that taking 50mg of iodoral did nothing for my asthma. When I started experimenting with large doses of SSKI, I noticed an immediate improvement in my asthma. For the 1st time in 30 years, I don't need any more VERY EXPENSIVE inhalers. SSKI is 30mg per drop. I suggest starting with a squirt per day (about 400mg). Maybe your thyroid will react like my lungs did, I think it is worth a try. It can't hurt.
