That’s pretty interesting. The same exact thing happened to me. I’ve flushed once, in late June of 2004. Since then, I’ve lost about 20 pounds, which I hadn’t expected at all. The weight loss has been a little disconcerting, because I have a thin frame to begin with. Interesting about the hydrogen peroxide. I had a recent cold sore flare up. Once I felt/noticed the pre-cold sore swelling on my lip, I immediately swabbed the area down with hydrogen peroxide (for lack of a better alternative). That’s interesting information - thanks. I never noticed a sweet smell in terms of urine. My doctor never indicated any problems with my blood sugar or insulin, although my pancreatic enzymes were slightly elevated at one point (nothing serious). Although there is no direct correlation yet, the medical industry suspects a link between elevated triglycerides and increased risk of CAD. Triglycerides over 1000mg/dec are associated with an increased risk of pancreatitis. FYI, alcohol consumption can have a significant effect on TG’s. My triglycerides were hovering around 1200 to 1400 and came down to 900 within 6 weeks after doing a liver flush. Could be gastritis - sounds just like what I’ve experienced. Gastritis doesn’t have to be all that severe for it to cause all sorts of weird abdominal and chest discomfort - you can really get it anywhere in the chest and abdomen, along with heart burn, heart palpatations, bloating, naseau and vomitting in severe cases. That’s REALLY freaky if its true. That sounds like what I saw in my flush - clear/translucent stones, some of which were reddish, embedded with red worm like things. I thought that at first that maybe the red things could’ve been small blood vessels or weird tissue growth feeding these stones/globules, but decided that they were most likely worms because alot came out which were not embedded in the stones. Just out of curiousity... I had a few unusual ’floaters’ yesterday. Two were about the size of orange pits, one was about as big as a large raisan. They had smoothe exteriors, and resembled ear wax in terms of color and texture. I attempted to determine their consistency by applying pressure with a Q-tip. I have an hypothesis as to the supposed ”genetic” link to elevated triglycerides and cholesterol. I don’t think it has anything to do with liver function per se. Rather, it seems logical that there could be a genetic precursor for smaller and/or less elastic billiary tubing and hepatic ducts, making blockages more common. I don’t like being a contrarian, but you need to get a conventional medical opinion to make sure your problem doesn’t encompass the kidneys, spleen or pancreas, or a more menacing liver problem. The pain you describe sounds like gall stones; they are very typical in women as they get older, especially after having children. I lost about 5-8 pounds after I did my first flush, and about another 5-7 pounds in the following weeks. I wouldn’t worry too much. Conventional wisdom in this forum is that the more stones you move, the lousier you’ll feel. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids, especially water, to help flush out your system. Lots of posters also highly recommend enemas or colonics, but I haven’t tried it. I’ve only done 1 flush, but it was very productive; +/- 200 stones plus some parasites. It took me a day or two to get back on my feet. Is it normal to experience continued weight loss with after a liver flush? I performed a very successful first flush almost three weeks ago, and almost immediately lost 6-8 pounds (+/-185 to +/- 177) after the flush. I was curious as to the minimum dose of olive oil required to effectively pass stones. I’ve seen in various posts that some people occassionally pass stones ”spontaneously” with their ordinary diet. I’m very interested to see if using a low dose of epsom salts (about a teaspoon) with a small amount of olive/grapefruit juice (maybe about two to three tablespoons each) would work as sort of a ”Flush Lite”. I began flushing my system yesterday to rehydrate myself after my first flush. I drank a 20 oz. gatorade & about 80 oz. of water during the day, then roughly 20 oz. of diluted organic apple juice in the evening. What do you know? I plan on doing my first liver flush tomorrow and have a couple of question. First, a little primer; Male, Age 35, Ht. 5’ 9”, Wt. 175 lbs.
