Dear Chron’ers, I’ve been doing the liver flushes for several years and they work great for me. I believe all of the stories on the flushes, because I have seen all of the same positive results. I actually had 4 doctors laugh in my face when I told them what I was doing do fix my ”fatty liver disease”. 12th Flush, here. Followed the fresh squeezed red grapefruit juice regimine until this last one. As I approached this flush, grapefruits went out of season and they got harder to find, let along almost a 2 Bucks a piece for not-so-juicy ones. This flush, I couldn’t even find any in the first 2 grocery stores, so I just bought 100% red grapefruit juice in a jar.... no concentrate, no sugar; but it did have some grape and some orange juice in it. Mia, This seems to make a lot of sense. It is possible that I did not drink enough fluids the day before or that morning. Maybe I was dehydrated and it caused hyper-sensitivity. I actually purged loose stools at night around the time of drinking the olive oil, but it settled down and I slept well. I probably should have drank a bunch of water at that time to replenish the fluid. The first time this happened (3rd flush) the only thing I had eaten just before the reaction was some almonds. Want to know if others may have experienced this: I just finished my 10th liver flush. It was 7 weeks since the previous one; each of the first 9 were 2-4 weeks apart. Flush went OK; lots of stones. This morning after finishing up the bulk of the purge, I had a light breakfast; nothing out of the ordinary - shredded wheat, milk, toast, coffee... same as most breakfasts. I don’t have this problem, but I know someone who did. She simply cut down on the quantity of epsom salts (by half), her problem settled down on the second flush and out came the green balls and the runny’s finished that first day. Evidently her system was more sensitive to the salts than most people. Maybe your is also. FYI, I seemed to be able to handle a little more so I increased the epsom salts by about 25%. Preface: I had been very against rushing to war in Iraq until 2-3 weeks ago. Deb, My input: Forget about all of this other hokus pokus parasite cleansing, special herb drinks, zapping and hoopla before doing a cleanse. Don’t worry so much about the negative input and be careful in falling prey to the hyper positive stuff, too. Just Do It! The liver cleanse, that is. You will get results. But don’t tell your doctor .... This is a very valid question. Sure, we may all zap because we BELIEVE it will help us. Yeah, I get many of the same sensations that others get when zapping, burning eyes, throat, etc. How do I know that isn’t just some phenomena of the DC voltage creating some small battery effect in the salty solution in the eyes or throat? How do we REALLY know that it works. I don’t see any dead bugs falling out of my skin. I don’t see long stringy flukes dropping out of me. Hibiscus, You are not alone - that is why I ended up here. My ALT has been high 90’s-140 (AST about half that) since Sept when the Red Cross flagged me on a routine blood donation (I am also 50). Regular docs were stumped.... gastro specialists are stumped. They tested for EVERYTHING and did an ultrasound of everything.... found nothing. I read Hermit’s negative posting below so I contacted the designer, builder, publisher of the PC Serial Port Zapper with Hermit’s concerns about the viability of the PC Zapper. For Hermit and those technically inclined I am posting his response. It is very thorough and I would tend to agree with his analysis of the viability of the PC Zapper. First off, I have no fear of getting FRIED by the juice coming out of that port... the serial port can only put out just so much juice.... not 110v AC. I built my own from Radio Shack, also. All of those clips are just for those who don’t have a soldering iron. If you have a soldering iron and the where-with-all to use it, you won’t need all of the clips. I used some wire and clips and cut off some copper pipe to hold onto, but after the first time I ran out to the local computer store and got some wrist band grounding clips and clipped them on the zapper posts so I can at least do something while I am zapping. My only problem with zapping is getting some kind of definitive result.   [End]

I have been seeing the docs since September for an unknown liver problem (high ALT/AST - but nothing else is wrong). No diseases, no Hepatisis (A,B, or C), no tumors, nothing they can find. My wife ran across CureZone and I have done 3 very successful flushes so far (doing 4th right now). Question for your veterans. I have done 3 flushes, all with good success. Prior to the 3rd one I did zap (built it from the schematics on CureZone). The day after the actual flush I had a normal simple cereal breakfast at 9:30. Then about 12:30 I ate a handful of walnuts (we had done some baking at Thanksgiving). Within 15 minutes I knew I was having a rather significant allergic reaction: immediate rash, burning ears, welts, itching, hives. I ran to the cabinet and sucked down the benedryl and rubbed benedryl cream all over - this killed the reaction after about 30 minutes or so. ...
