I really don’t want to scare you, but I’ll let you know my experience. First of all, when they put the IUD in me, the pain was so bad that I almost passed out. Afterward, my doctor said ”I don’t know why it was so hard to put in you!” At my annual visit 5 months later, she was unable to find the IUD with a physical exam and an ultrasound. She said it probably just fell out, but did an x-ray and CT scan just to be possitive. That’s how they found it in another part of my abdomen.
