You really need to see a urologist and if you do have HPV, get an exam every year! I have HPV myself, and I’m also studying to be a doctor. I can’t tell you how nervous it makes me to know that my partner refuses to see a urologist because of embarrassment. HPV increases your chances of prostate cancer later in life..so exams every year are crucial in order that you catch it early. Plus..the warts are the easy thing to get rid of. Hello, I contracted genital warts when I was 15. Well, they went away and the disease has been dormant for 8 years. I know the virus is still in my bloodstream though.
