Hi Archus, That is wonderful about your dog and the castor oil. My Mother also told me the same thing about castor oil and having to take it as a child. She said they were hesitant to tell their parents they had a stomach ache, because a spoonful of castor oil was always the remedy. :) I saw a very interesting post awhile back regarding castor oil and a woman flattening her belly with it. Should also mention that the castor oil packs really cut down on the pain. They seemed to somehow suck the infection out and reduce what felt like swelling in the area. I read that it wasn’t recommended to do a heating pad with the castor oil packs if you have an appendicitis, but I did not take that advice and did the heat because it made it feel better. But as I mentioned, I also alternated hot and cold water a few times a day as well. There is some interesting info out there about Edgar Cayce and castor oil packs with regard to appendicitis.   [End]

Thanks for the question. Yes, it took a while for me to figure out it was an appendicitis. At first I thought it might be an ovarian cyst or something of that nature.
