I’ve known about fecal flora replacement for a while. Actually, for a couple of years before i found out about Gr. Borody I had had the idea that such a procedure might work but couldn’t find anything in the litetrature to supportt it. Then about a year ago I found out that a Dr. Borody was performing just such a procedure in Australia. My first reaction was to say ”finally!” and began learning more about it. I ususally don’t post here (just read), but I just had to respond to your post. It breaks my heart to learn that there are still so many people like you out there still suffering needlessly from IBD (UC/Chrons). Haven’t you heard that the SCD (Specific Carbohydrate Diet) is the answer? How can you say such things without even having tried it? I have UC and went on the diet in 1997. I got almost immediate relief (which I never experienced with the drugs the MDs gave me). Nowadays, the only time symptoms rear their ugly head is when I ”cheat” by eating something not allowed.
