I totally have to disagree that these stones are formed in the bowel. When I did my first liver flush I was doubled over in pain. The concept is simple... if a person puts diesel in a gas vehicle, and that person realizes it quickly enough... they simply pull over, syphon out all the diesel and add gasoline in again and the problems should go away. I wouldn’t use long distance athletes as a means to prove the disadvantages of a paleo diet. It is well known that such athletes do not live long and routinely suffer heart attacks. Not so much because of their diets, but because they push their bodies so hard. However there are tribes such as the tarahumara who are well known to run 300-400 km daily over several days, and living into their 80s. I too feel that doing 2-3 liver flushes a week is too much. My personal stance/instincts towards liver flushing are that the stones need time to break down. So I take herbs such as Chanca Piedra, Gold Coin Grass as well as performing other protocols during the 3 weeks building up towards a liver flush.
