Hi UNY! Question: I found a imported vodka in the liquor store down the street that is 96% alcohol (192 proof) WOOOZA! I didn’t even know that was possible. Its rather expensive though 20 bucks for a fifth..its 13 for a handle of 40% alcohol so its a big difference in price. I’m not Uny :) but I can say that Dr. S did recommend the half and half. Uny has two blends in her store front. One is the regular blend (50% non active yeast) and that is for people juice fasting to make sure they have adequate B vitamins and protein which can sometimes lack during a juice feast. The second superfood blend is her ”special blend” which is equal parts everything. The thing about Iodine is it is very powerful and great for detoxing bromide and flouride. Bromide toxicity can cause cystic acne. I have never done the liver flushes while taking antibiotics..partly because antibiotics are not a long term solution for ending acne. I was on 4 different antibiotics (increasing strength each time) for 4 years and finally said enough enough enough and went to holistic healing. Dr. Shulze is a great one I’m told. The IF#1 is taken first until about 3BM’s everyday and then you switch to IF#2 and that heals and retrains and rebuilds your colon. I’m also not sure on exact dosing but I’m sure it will say somewhere I haven’t done them but was def looking into it. I think the new capillaries will regenerate. I tried it to figure out if it worked. Most of the products on the market are wayy to expensive for what they do. I actually got the app for the itouch and used it for like a month. I would say it helped like 10% improvement in how fast acne healed. I wouldn’t pay more than that app (1.99) for a device costing 50-70 bucks tho. Its not a complete gimmick tho, but natural UVA rays from sunlight work way better on acne and its free. Just walk outside until your skin gets a little pink (but not burned) and then go back inside. Have you ever heard of food combining? I would recommend checking it out for Candida problems. Chicken and rice shouldn’t go together with candida. They trick the digestive process and can cause digestive problems. AAH I experienced the same thing. I thought if I cleaned up enough toxins then for sure I would get no acne if my diet strayed. Unfortunately I’ve done every kind of cleanse and detox imaginable and if I stray on dieting for more than a long weekend my face will get a few pimples. That is a great observation. I didn’t take into account bromide toxicity although I just started taking Lugol’s myself just for overall wellness and it has seemed to have really good results. I did a cross between the Body Ecology Diet and Nourishing Traditions by Weston A Price. No Fruit was used. I also tried Kefir but my tongue just would not cooperate. That is generally what happens. You unload a lot of toxins and your body says thank you when your skin looks great..but then the toxic overload can continue if you don’t address your diet. Classic candida case. It’s one of the body’s warning signs for showing you whats on the inside. The skin is a picture of the internal environment. Despite the cleanses that doesn’t really address the yeast overgrowth. You have to read the label. Look at the Omega levels and the Vitamin A and D levels. Usually the IU’s on Vitamin A and D in the capsules is a little lower than the straight oil. Hi Snoopy, I think its wise to go the natural route as well. Longer term it will be better for your daughter. A couple things I noticed. The heavy antibiotic use can help people short term but as soon as they are off their body can be very toxic and absent of friendly bacteria. This causes the colon to be highly inefficient and can back up other organ systems like the liver, lymphatic system. What do you think acne is caused by? The question that causes immense frustration among patients yet sparks such little debate. Do dermatologists really understand the WHOLE picture when they look at skin diseases, particulary acne? One thing to keep in mind is that your colon could be clogged. Especially if you said you were eating bad foods and were under stress. That would cause the colon to become inefficient and if you aren’t eliminating at least 1 time per day you should do a colon cleanse of some type (ex. oxy cleanse, psyllium and herb based colon cleanse, or colonic).
