Hi Barry, I had a couple other thoughts I thought I’d share with you. I think you already know that I started doing the liver cleanse because I continued to have pain after surgery. Hi all, This cleanse, by far, has been the easiest to get through. I ate a larger no-fat and no-fat lunch than usual before the 2pm cutoff of the Clark cleanse. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t hungry the rest of the night. I did get really thirsty around 9pm, and felt like I had to have a glass of water, so I did. I started having diarrhea last night just after the 8pm epsom drink (this is new!) but it stopped just before the 10pm oil/grapefruit drink. Hi, You didn’t post how old you are, but it is possible that you don’t have stones. However, I’d probably give it one more try to make sure. Also, I fall asleep laying on my back, but then I sleep whichever way is comfortable. One other thought: you might want to to a parasite/bowel/kidney cleanse before you do another liver cleanse, if you haven’t already done them. Dr. Clark says that the liver cleanses are more successful if you do those other cleanses first. I’m sure the cleanse you did accomplished what it was supposed to though, and you could be one of the few people who don’t ...

Hi, Actually, you had great results! The epsom/water is hard to get down. One thing I’ve found that makes it easier is, don’t refrigerate the epsom/water. The reason being, I’m able, with one huge breath, holding my nose, to drink the entire mixture down using a straw. I do exactly the same thing with the oil/grapefruit mixture. One other tip: I use organic olive oil, and organic grapefruit. The organic oil I find stays down easier than non-organic oil. Adrienne   [End]

The key things if you are going to do the flush, are to properly do the three day apple juice fast(fresh juice is best) and not to do the flush while any stones are already in a blocked state. (You will know this is the case, if you cannot tolerate any fats at all and you’re pretty much constant pain.) Do *not* do the flush if this is the case. Try fasting on fresh apple juice and taking ”Stone Free”, sometimes these two things alone can help significantly. Although fasting beforehand may be of benefit, I followed Dr. Clark’s cleanse...she does not recommend a 3 day apple juice fast. ...

Hi again, Well, I don’t know how much you’ve read of my other posts, but, I had my GB removed in Sept. 2001. I didn’t do my first cleanse until two weeks after surgery. I was in just as much pain after surgery as I was before, because a stone was still stuck in my common bile duct! I got immediate relief with the first cleanse. After several days, some of my symptoms returned, although they were milder. I had mild discomfort(epigastric area) after eating a meal with fat, and experienced bowel rumbling/gas if I ate fat. Hi Sam, I can’t answer all your questions, but I’ll tell you what I know. First, my symptoms were very similar to yours. The only symptom you mentioned that I didn’t have was the pain in the arm area. You can definitely suspect GB problem. Ultrasounds can miss, or fail to detect stones, when in fact there could be many. Epsom salts help dialate the bile ducts, so that the stones are flushed out easily, and so you’ll have the most volume of stones expelled possible. Other methods can be successful...those that don’t use epsom, however, I’m only familiar with the cleanse that uses epsom. ...

Hi, You didn’t say if these hemangiomas are attached outside the liver or inside. I’m not an expert, but logic tells me that stones in your liver would not be any more ”stuck” during a liver cleanse then they would be before the cleanse. I had a hemangioma on my leg. It was very self-contained. Don’t know if all hemangiomas are like that. If your liver if functioning normally, then that’s a good sign, IMO, that the hemangiomas are not interfering with bile secretion. Hi Joey, Go ahead and do the liver cleanse. IMO, if you still have a stone in the common bile duct, the liver cleanse will flush it out. If you come down with a fever, it would indicate something more severe, but if the pain you’re experiencing is similiar to the pain you had prior to surgery, it most likely is a stone in the duct. The pain I had that was the same before surgery and after was this: tossing and turning, knawing pain in the epigastric portion of abdomen (central, just under the ”V” your ribs make) after eating any kind of fat...within one hour of a meal. Hi Sam, I’ve done the epsom cleanse (Dr. Clark’s) six times since October. I chose this cleanse because it seemed the simplest and Dr. Clark speaks so confidently of it in her book: The Cure for all Diseases. There are no ill side effects, that I know of, from using the epsom as prescribed in the cleanse. It is recommended that you don’t do them closer than at two week intervals, which is what I did for the first 5 cleanses. Then I waited 1 month between the 5th and 6th cleanse. Hi Joey, I had my GB removed last Sept. (I’m 44) and I did a liver cleanse two weeks after surgery...I was still having ”attacks.” I’ve since done six cleanses, and passed hundreds of stones. So, more than likely, if you had your GB removed because of pain and gallstones, you’ll also have stones in your liver, and the liver cleanse would be a really healthy thing to do for your liver. I’d recommend doing a parasite/bowel/kidney cleanse first though, although many people forego this first step and are still successful. I had my GB removed in Sept. 2001. My emergency room experience was the same as yours, it seems...they offered my pain medication and surgery. That seems to be the only solution the medical profession has to offer people for most conditions. After surgery, I continued to have excruciating pain...a stone was still stuck in the common bile duct!
