Personally I have a lot of experience with IVF. I have been closely involved with other couples who chose it as well. It is just a slightly different way of getting pregnant obviously. IVF can be expensive inside the US. It is far cheaper especially in Eurasia. The main thing to worry about is just the fact that the success rate isn’t the best. A few attempts might need to be made. As I wanted to have one more IVF I tried to find brand new options and failed. amh became lower than 1 and I was told only donor eggs can do but my gp insisted on surrogacy. and we did! It’s great that you are ready for surrogacy, it’s not so easy. esp if your own eggs are not that good. I know that many women refuse to start surrogacy and try as many IVFs as their body can take, some even don’t want to switch to donor eggs because they want their baby to have genetic relation to both of parents. Every woman makes her own decision. I want to try DE IVF again, no matter what my gyno says. Thank you! In my case I don’t think that it’s a property of my brave heart, it’s just a necessity. I wish to have a baby and see no opportunity except of the surrogacy. Thank goodness if we can do it on my own eggs. but I really feel I’m ready to go through surro program on DE in case my eggs will be unfortunately bad. I don’t know how this thing could be named but I’ve got no explanation for my infertility. My uterus and ovaries are just fine, womb lining is normal, my husband’s sperm is good (count, motility) there are no genetic issues as well..so it must be unexplained.
