I took him to the physician, he looked at his belly button, said it didn't look like pus area was connected to the inside of the abdominal organs. He thought that it was a cyst draining. I agree with you, when he was born, his bellybutton had some infection for a while and then healed up. It is possible that some bacteria got trapped. For the past few months, I've been trying to feed my whole family fresh organic fruits and vegetables, low meat, doing parasite cleanse. My son's body is probably reacting.
Few days ago he sneezed, there was a dime size whitish granular hardened pus or mucous, smelly that flew out with the sneeze. I don't know whether it came from his nose or mouth (he brought it to show me after the fact :-).
For years I was struggling with chronic tonsilitis, where similar stuff was periodically in crypts of my tonsils.
Where do you think his stuff came from? His tonsils are normal, I don't see anything like this in the mouth.
