gee whiz, i'm hardly a person to put so much trust in. it's awful nice of you to ask though. i guess it would be rude to not offer an opinion, so here goes.....

first, let me say that i also had my fillings out @ 9 years ago. it's hard to get a good feel for your own wellness when after having them out if you did it to overcome a health issue in the first place. i have no idea if a fast is the right thing to do right after having this work done. conversely, it could be the perfect time to do it. as i'm sure there are no studies concerning this, i guess it's a mute point although with all the mercury potentially drifting through your body, it would make sense to get it out as soon as possible.

loosing weight...i've read that in many cases, people who are underweight at the begining of a fast have actually gained weight. i don't know if this is true. i haven't had that problem myself(i've never been underweight). you really should ask MH if adding oil or nuts to the fast will affect the results. common sense tells me it would but your are also not in a race here. it's ok to have better results at a slower rate than no results at all.

i hadn't heard that fasting after removal is not recomended or that protein is good afterwards so i can't adress either of those issues.

i do think fasting has great benefits to offer. maybe you should continue doing small fasts with much protein in your diet in between. liver flushing too maybe. i do believe in hot baths to get rid of toxins. you can't go wrong with that. i've just started experimenting with the sitz bath. interesting.

there are many avenues one can take to regain their health. i've taken a few. removing my fillings was beneficial, without doubt but it did not solve all my health problems. i hope it serves you well. one other thing i can recomend is seeing some sort of chiropractor. i think it is very important to be properly adjusted.

trust your intuition and good luck.
