Thanks for all of your replies you just done on the various posts of mine.

I'll have a look into that vermiculite clay, never heard of it before. I don't think i'll bother with the composting thing for now, will just buy new soil. Might make the composting my next project, will concentrate on getting a juicer and growing wheat and barley grass.

Looking so forward to getting into all of this stuff.
