The sodium ascorbate helped for a couple days. Then made me really gassy. I go to my kinesiologist tomorrow. She had me take asparagus for 2 weeks, a can a day for my kidneys. So maybe the salt is not bothering me because I did that already and my kidneys are ok. Either way, the salt seems to help. I will let you all know what happens.
