Yeah, when Rodney King got wailed on, there
was a huge outcry, and then, it seemed began
the bigger effort NOT to get CAUGHT by people
in authority. The redeeming words of Rodney
which those of us who remember those times,
remember..."Can we just all get along"...

Tasering is so serious...here in Texas where
I live, more people die than survive tasering.
Or at least the news focuses on that, and so
it seems that one would not want to be tasered.
Its not like this kid was waving a gun...
Its another side effect of Bush's War of Terror
to instill in us fear of everything. In the
60's the people sitting in the audience would
have cheered him on and booed Kerry for not
speaking up forcefully...in the footage you
can see the fear on the faces in the audience.
I found myself thinking, what the heck are
they afraid of??

Another blip on the screen of forcing people
to feel fearful of their own shadows or the
people coming out of them...(sigh)
