In case anyone was wondering, I caved on my quest to stop using lip balms because of social pressure. I truly beleive that this is the cause of my problem. I cant stand having dry peeling bits of skin hanging off my lips, so I apply lip balm to soften the skin and then pick all of the white skin off.
I think if I was stranded on a humid tropical island for months with no mirrors and worry about how my lips looked, my lips would get better and stop peeling :) Too bad thats not reality.
Right now I am considering seeing a Psychic or getting hypnotherapy to uncover the problem. Has anyone tried either of these?
