I have ALWAYS suffered TREMENDOUSLY with menstrual cramps (even while on bc pills) and I was sooo worried about getting through cramps without Advil (I usually take 3-4 at a time while menstruating--it's that bad) on the fast because I was assured I would ruin the benefits of the fast if I took any medication. Well, I got my period yesterday and GUESS WHAT?! Thought I'd be lying in bed with a heating pad moaning and crying without the ibuprofen...well, mild cramps at best--took NO ADVIL. (Also, I went OFF the pill in March). I was still kinda tired and irritable, but hey I was more than able to function. You gotta understand...this is like a miracle for me.

Anyone else experience this?

Well, I got thru yesterday (Day 10) and am feeling better today(physically and emotionally--missing my sweetie who is out of state for 8 weeks) so I'm GONNA forge ahead to 14 days and maybe 21.

I mostly started this for a reducing diet but I am seeing and feeling such benefits other than weightloss, I would recommend this to anyone who just wants/needs to feel better. And thanks to all the great supportive people on this forum. It's great. I would have not gotten even this far without everyone.
