I'm a med student currently writing a paper regarding the psychological reasons why Allen Carr works. Gave up myself using that method and loved every minute of every "crave". But it is just frightening the amount of resistance that ALL the Dr.s and profs have show to the cold turkey method. They are all but clammering to stick patches to every available surface of my body. Frightening stuff. If I weren't such a stubborn thing I'm sure I would have given in to them, thinking:" Oh my God...I really am completely addicted, and need my cigs" and would have lit up within moments.
