Thanks for the info regarding where to purchase a good seasoned iron skillet...I have one that has been seasoned for many years...I've had it since 1984, it was my Grandmother's before that so I am not certain how old it is. It is well seasoned but I only use it for making cornbread!! I was taught that you can't use your cornbread skillet for anything else! I've been wanting a new one, to use for other than cornbread, but didn't have 25 years or longer to season it! The prices at kaboom look good, only I was wanting a skillet with the raised sides like my old skillet and didn't see any...
