It took me a while to get a grip on it when I found myself in the dating pool with genital herpes, but it does definitely get better with time, especially if you work on having a positive attitude. If you need folks to talk to, I found the kind people that hang out over at the herpes discussion forums at racoon.com/herpes to be very helpful to me.
