I use Moritz' flush, but their procedures are similar.

He says that most people have at least 2,000 stones in their livers, but some people start off with 5,000 stones. He said that 2,000 stones need to be removed before seeing significant improvement. I'm not sure if this includes those with 5,000 stones or more. At any rate, I think it takes many flushes to see a reduction in any symptom, and the reduction is gradual. In my case, I saw a significant reduction around 7 - 8 flushes, and while my allergies are nothing like they used to be, I still have the occasional bout after 25 flushes. Yet, I think the effort is worth it, not only for the relief of allergies, but also for the relief of many other symptoms and the general improvement of health in the body. You may need to do many more flushes before seeing consistant improvement.

I've used ginger to reduce nausea. Ginger can be added in powder form, but is better if the raw root is squeezed directly into the OO/citrus drink. You could add a slice to your drinking water the day of the flush (personally, I dislike the taste in water) or drink it as tea.

However, I think nausea is mainly caused by the release of toxins into the small intestines, and water dilutes them to a point where they can be removed more easily by the kidneys and colon. If you're using Clark's procedure, you might not be drinking enough water. Try drinking at least 2 liters of water (more is better) after stopping the food at 2 pm and the next morning (in addition to water you've drunk during the morning). You can drink water anytime except for 20 minutes before and after any of the drinks. Of course, after the OO/citrus drink, you should rest without movement for at least 20 minutes, and 4 hours is better, so drinking most of the 2 liters (or more!) is best between 2 pm and 10 pm. If you try this, I think you'll find that your nausea is reduced. I almost never suffer from nausea, and the few times I've felt a little nauseous (but haven't vomited yet) it was after not drinking enough water.

A good rule of thumb: Drink at least 2 liters of water (8 8-ounce cups) or more for at least 3 days before and after each flush. To be more specific to your body, 1 ounce for half of every pound of body weight. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds, divide this by half (70) and that is the number of ounces of water you should drink a day (70 ounces = about 9 8-ounce cups a day) as a minimum. You can drink more. This should really be your daily water consumption anyways.

Magnesium and waste elimination: You might find it helpful to supplement with magnesium oxide, in divided doses, at least 500 mg 3 days before, 1000 mg 2 days before, 1,500 mg the day before the OO/citrus drink. I find this builds up the body's reserves of magnesium, so that the Epsom Salts (magnesium sulphate) is able to work properly to help the body void intestinal wastes, rather than being both being absorbed into the body. The magnesium might be needed to build up the electrolyte reserves, but when the wastes are absorbed too, they often cause nausea. By building up your reserves of magnesium, you keep your electrolytes in balance, and have more bms during the flush, both of which should reduce nausea. More bms means more toxins moving out of your system, and if you help this by diluting the toxins with more water, you should wind up with a clearer system, less nausea during the flush and less symptoms of toxins (Herxheimer effect) like pimples, bad breath, brain fog, bad Body Odor , white tongue, swollen neck glands, etc. after the flush.

On flush day (OO/citrus day) and the day the stones come out, I often drink twice what I've recommended. It's a personal choice.

Good luck!
