I have done a pinch of borax in 1 liter of water first thing in morning. Did not see any harmful side effects.
BORAX is also reported to help ppl suffering from Arthritis, as it chelates fluoride.

I still do Sea-salt in water. But I stopped Borax for a while. I could start again.
