same could be said of any compound or group of them together. at least these things are explained and work as advertised - chlorides to loosen bromides from the kidneys, vit C to help handle the extra oxidative stress of elemental iodine(which has a thereapeutic purpose and need in the body), selenium and magnesium in good supply to balance the increased activity afforded by iodine, B2 and B3 to correct deficient organification of iodine(people who have this problem will never know without iodine supplementation or when they get cancer), etc.
