Hey

I'm from the UK and about two months ago my mum ordered me some natural progesterone cream from a US company. She had been using it for post-menopausal symptoms and found it beneficial she thought it could help my acne. I used to have awful Acne until I was 18 but it was more or less cured by using the contraceptive pill. A year ago I came off the pill and my skin has exploded. It has got to the point where I'm waking up because of the pain in my face.

Ive only used the cream for 2 months so far. The directions for use are to use it in the last 14days of your menstrual cycle (when progesterone is the dominant hormone) to counteract oestrogen dominance. My skin has worsened at the moment but I have found this always happens when you start a new treatment as the body clears itself. (or at least thats what Im trying to tell myself!) The cream has however regulated my period in just two months. My previous two cycles were 22 and 38 days respectively. If it can balance my periods in such a short space of time I have great hopes for this treatment.

The only thing that could effect me giving you a definitive "yes" on this cream is that my Acne got to such a point last week that I decided to go to the doctor and get an Antibiotic (minocin) so my skin may clear up because of this. I am hoping only to use the minocin short term however so Ill keep you posted on the progress with the natural progesterone cream.
