I bought Similisan Stye Eye Relief at Whole Foods, and used it along with alternating warm and cold compresses. I did try the green tea bag but it hurt worse afterward, maybe because I was using the Stye Eye relief also. Oh, and I had originaly gone to the doctor because I didn't know what was wrong with my eye, just that it was swollen. He peeked under the eyelid and saw that it was a stye so that that was useful. He prescribed an Antibiotic ointment ointment orally and an Antibiotic ointment but I didn't use them. Anyway with the Similisan and the compresses my eyelid was mostly healed within a few days.
