I am all for raw milk . . . but let me not forget reasonable caution . . . it's not like raising tomatoes after all.

Is you friend new to raising cows? Is he going to be testing the milk for bacteria levels, etc.? . . . I would recommend that. Despite one's best efforts, sometimes bacteria levels climb (like in humans), and, if they are high enough, you don't want to drink the milk.
