I had a basset hound that had a tumor on her hip the size of very large tomato, not to mention a few the size of cherry tomatoes a couple of other places.
I took her off dog food and fed her only meat. I gave her some de-wormer. I also gave her a generic ibuprofen every day because she could barely get up. Anyway, her tumors disappeared. I don't recommend you eating only meat, but since that time I feel like the primitive diets are the way to go to stop inflammation. It also could have been the ibuprofen. Grains and Sugar are inflammatory. I also believe coffee is inflammatory.
