I started bodybuilding in 1994 and was overtraining from the start. I ran across Mentzer's colum in one of the magazines (ironman?) in 1995, and used to read it frequently. I can't remember if he was the reason, but in 1995 I started to cut down the sets and increase the intensity and started making much better gains. I do think less is better, but it all depends on the individual. Everybody has different genetics. Arnold will be able to do more sets and recover quicker then I will ever be able to.
