I don't know if this helps, but about ten, fifteen, or more years ago, I remember an announcement in the U.S. that scientists were launching a major five-year study into the effectiveness of Aloe Vera.

I remember that the announcement astonished me, because I felt they were studying something that seniors already understood very well.

I don't read medical journals, but I haven't seen or heard of the final report. I wonder why.

It seems to me that a 'Yea' or 'Nay' on the hoped-for effectiveness of Aloe Vera would get some press coverage.

Have you seen any?
