Awful and awful. Poor liver. Luckily my own liver looked fine when I did a liver ultrasonography. Although the pain and spasming in the liver is there on a daily basis since the migration, obviously something very small must be lodged there. It must be difficult to diagnose liver parasites, and really, how many doctors will think of liver parasites when people come to them with various liver issues?

"Asymptomatic infestation may exist for up to 35 years"

Jikes!

"As human infections with biliary flukes may be asymptomatic and the symptoms and signs are not pathognomonic, the actual number of human cases is undoubtedly much greater than reported."

Huu!

"I really hate ascaris – they are so invasive!" I second that. Usually I dont believe in hate, is destructive. But right now, deep in my heart, I feel it.
