Perhaps I didn't look hard enough, but what I have found concerning flouride toxicity was primarily aimed at fluoridated water or ingesting toothpaste or rinses as opposed to JUST brushing with flouridated toothpaste as a topical application. I have avoided flouridated toothpaste for better part of a year and my teeth are in lousy shape. My dentist gave me prescription strength flouridated toothpaste to use.
Now I am at a crossroads. At least for the short term I will be using this toothpaste.
